Born and raised in Koreatown, Raquel’s love for photography began early, sparked by the thrill of disposable cameras on elementary school field trips. That spark turned into a lifelong passion, evolving in the darkroom during college and deepening over years spent documenting her life, friends, and the world around her.

Since 2020, Raquel has worked with musicians, couples, growing families, and graduates, creating honest, heartfelt portraits that reflect each subject’s unique story.

Her work has been featured in the San Francisco art gallery, The Drawing Room SF and was recognized by Pamplemousse Magazine as a “Photographer to Watch.”
