Not only is she a talented photographer but she’s a master of relationships and treats you with the upmost care, respect and empathy. I am not individual who is comfortable in front of the camera, rather I like to stay behind the scenes, but Raquel made me feel like the most beautiful person in the world, and I LOVED all the photos she captured. I’m not one who enjoys looking at photos of myself, but Raquel not only captured beautiful imagery of me as well as coached me into finding my joy and happiness while shooting so it would translate through the photos. “I came to Raquel for an intimate photo shoot in my studio and was blown away by her work. The photos she produced capture my essence in a way I didn’t know was possible. Her ability to maneuver lighting, stage an area, and connect with her subject make her an extremely skilled photographer. I also felt prepared prior to the the shoot because we walked through many of the details– from what I would wear to inspiration for poses. Raquel has an incredible presence during shooting. Even though I’m not used to being in front of the camera in a formal way, I felt comfortable and beautiful under her direction.
